Jonathan Jackson Killed in Vallejo Crash on Highway 80 near Georgia Street
Vallejo, California – Jonathan Jackson, 26, of Phoenix, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash in Vallejo in December.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:45 a.m. on December 21, on Interstate Highway 80 near Georgia Street.
The man was driving a 2001 Lexus when he collided with the left front tire of a 2007 GMC. The impact of the collision sent the Lexus off the roadway where it struck two trees and a concrete wall, causing it to roll over.
Jackson was ejected from the Lexus and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the GMC and a 9-year-old girl in the car were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
