Jose Deras Killed in Long Beach Car Crash on 605 Freeway
Long Beach, California – 31-year-old Jose Deras has been identified as the man who was killed in a car crash in Long Beach on Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol and the Long Beach Fire Department report that the fatal crash happened around 11 a.m. on the 605 Freeway near Wardlow Road.
A big rig and a box truck were involved but the events that led to the collision were not immediately established.
Deras was pronounced dead at the scene.
