Boyle Heights, California – 77-year-old Jose Dorado has been identified as the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Boyle Heights.
The crash happened around 8:05 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Road and Plaza Del Sol.
The man was hit by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Mission Road.
The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division responded and pronounced Dorado dead at the scene.
