Josef Binter Killed in Murrieta Bicycle Crash on Whitewood Road near Poinsettia Street
Murrieta, California (April 26, 2023) – The Murrieta Police Department has identified Josef Binter, 73, as the man killed in a bicycle collision on Munday night in Murrieta.
The deadly collision occurred at about 8:00 p.m. on April 25 on Whitewood Road north of Poinsettia Street.
Police said Binter was heading north on Whitewood when he slammed into an SUV’s rear. The SUV had pulled over on the side of the road to attend to her child in the backseat.
Binter of Murrieta suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.
No one else was hurt in the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
