Joseph Capasso Killed in Manteca Pedestrian Accident on Yosemite Avenue at Airport Way
Manteca, California – The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified 49-year-old Joseph Capasso of Manteca as the pedestrian killed in a traffic accident on Sunday night in Manteca.
The fatal crash happened on West Yosemite Avenue at Airport Way at about 10:20 p.m. August 4, infornt of Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center.
The Manteca Police Department officials confirmed Capasso was walking in the location when he was hit by a vehicle.
Capasso died due to the collision.
The car driver, 38-year-old Blake Joseph Walker was found to have been impaired by marijuana. He was arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of drugs.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation by the Manteca Police Department is ongoing.
