Joseph Lopez Killed in Lancaster Motorcycle Accident at Avenue H and 30th St
Lancaster, California – Joseph Lopez, 29, has been identified as the man who died in a fiery motorcycle accident on Friday night.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened around 11:37 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue H and 30th Street West, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s Lancaster Station.
The Lancaster man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Avenue H approaching the intersection when he crashed into a Toyota Tundra that was making a left turn from westbound Avenue H onto 30th Street West.
Lopez was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The motorcycle burst into flames after the collision.
Authorities say speed may have been a factor in the crash.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
