Barstow, California – 64-year-old Joyce Lynn McShan, of Colton, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a fiery car crash that happened last month in Barstow.
The accident was reported at around 5:59 p.m. on August 31, southbound Interstate 15 and L Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A dark Mazda CX5 was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes and collided with a semi loaded with 38,000 lbs. of chicken.
The impact of the collision caused the semi to crash into a guardrail and caught fire.
Joyce was in the SUV and was killed in the collision.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
