Julian Franks Fatally Injured in Willits Crash on Valley Road near Davidson Road
Willits, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly collision that killed 30-year-old Julian Franks of Willits on Sunday night.
The accident occurred on Valley Road east of Davidson Road on June 14, at around 11:00 p.m.
Police said Franks was heading eastbound on Valley Road in a 1985 Toyota pickup when his car that was partially in the westbound lane was sideswiped by a 2022 Honda Accord operated by a 16-year-old female from Willits.
The impact of the crash caused the pickup truck to overturn.
Frank was thrown out of the car. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office declared him dead at the accident location.
The Honda driver’s condition was not known.
No other information concerning the collision was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
