Juliana Cortes Killed in Kerman Car Accident at Manning and Mcmullin
Kerman, California – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman who was killed in a crash at an intersection in Kerman on Tuesday morning.
The fatal collision was reported at around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Manning Avenue and Mcmullin Grade.
21-year-old Francisco Cuevas was driving a car eastbound on Manning when he allegedly ran a stop sign and was hit by a commercial truck.
51-year-old Juliana Cuevas Cortes of Kerman was riding in the car and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Francisco was hospitalized with moderate to major injuries.
The truck driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
