Chino, California (May 13, 2023) – Authorities have identified 79-year-old Karin James as the woman killed in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday night in Chino.
The deadly accident happened at about 8:23 p.m. on May 10 in the 16700 block of Euclid Avenue, just south of Pine Avenue.
Police said James was walking on Euclid Avenue when she was struck by a southbound car.
James was declared dead at the accident location.
The involved motorist remained at the crash site and was cooperative.
No additional information concerning this collision was released.
An investigation is ongoing.
