LA County Medical Examiner Identifies Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on 101 Freeway
Los Angeles, California: The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the pedestrian who died in a crash on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles as Miguel Durazo Jr., 42.
The deadly accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Thursday on the southbound lanes of the freeway at North Los Angeles Street.
Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of the crash and found Durazo lying in one of the traffic lanes.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. He died from blunt force injuries suffered in the accident, as per the coroner.
Details about what caused the crash were not given.
