LA County Medical Examiner Identifies Woman Killed in Palmdale Car Crash
Palmdale, California: 34-year-old Darrica Wannamaker from Palmdale has been identified as the woman who died in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Saturday morning in Palmdale, the Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicles collided around 2:30 a.m. on eastbound Avenue P, just east of 15th Street East.
Wannamaker was driving her 2006 Kia Spectra east on Avenue P and 21-year-old Adrian Lopez Garcia of Palmdale was also driving a 2019 Toyota Camry in the same direction.
Authorities said for reasons still under investigation, the Camry crashed into the Spectra.
Wannamaker died from injuries she sustained in the crash. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
Police officers are investigating the accident.
