Lamar Maxwell Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident at Pacific Coast Highway and Ohio Avenue
Long Beach, California – 65-year-old Lamar Maxwell has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car on Wednesday morning in Long Beach.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 5:25 a.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and Ohio Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was walking in the eastbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway when he was struck by a car.
The driver of the car, 55-year-old Cher Srey, fled the scene but later turned herself in at the Signal Hill Police Department.
She was booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run at the Long Beach City Jail.
