Lorine Wooldridge Killed in Portland Crash on Highway 223
Portland, Oregon – A 66-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday, June 15, in Portland.
The accident happened at around 11:45 a.m. on Highway 223 near Rickreall Road, according to the Oregon State Police.
66-year-old Lorine Wooldridge was driving a Volkswagon Beetle eastbound on the highway and was making a U-turn when she was struck by a white Ford F-150 driven by 49-year-old Perry Freeman.
Woodridge was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
77-year-old Margaret McCloud riding in the Volkswagen and was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
Freeman and his passenger were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
