Los Angeles County Coroner Identifies Man Killed in 405 Freeway Crash
Los Angeles, California: 30-year-old Juan Rodas died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Monday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said.
Authorities received reports of a multi-vehicle accident with “a body in the middle of the freeway” at around 3:36 a.m. in the southbound lanes at Sunset Boulevard.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene, where they found four vehicles involved in the crash.
Rodas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not give details about the manner of the accident.
All southbound lanes were blocked near the crash scene for about four and a half hours during an investigation.
