Sacramento, California: Authorities are investigating a serious injury collision that happened Thursday evening on State Route 160 in Sacramento.
The wreck transpired around 8:18 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway at the Royal Oaks Drive off-ramp.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found two vehicles, including a possible motorcycle, involved in the accident.
One person was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
