Mendocino County, California: One person was seriously injured in a car collision that happened Thursday evening in Covelo, a census-designated place in Mendocino County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported around 6:40 p.m. on State Route 162 at Frazier Lane.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.
One person suffered major injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded to the scene and took the victim to the hospital in unknown condition.
