Major Injuries Reported in Crash on I-680 in Pleasanton

Pleasanton, California: At least one person was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday night on Interstate 680 in Pleasanton.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision took place around 9:14 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate just south of the Sunol Boulevard off-ramp.

A white Dodge Big Horn pickup truck collided with a black Honda Civic for an unknown reason. One of the cars reportedly overturned and landed on its wheels.

Responding emergency person helped at least one person who sustained major injuries.

CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
