Simi Valley, California: At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday night in Simi Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 11:51 p.m. on State Route 118 near Madera Road off-ramp.
A Honda car, a Toyota car, and a third vehicle were involved in the collision, blocking traffic lanes.
Ventura County firefighters responded to the scene to help the motorists.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the accident, as per the report.
The highway was briefly closed following the collision.
