Major Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Accident near Byron
Contra Costa, California: Major injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning near Byron, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash took place just before 6 a.m. on southbound Vasco Road just south of Camino Diablo.
Four vehicles, including a red Toyota Camry, a gray Toyota Tacoma, and a gray Toyota Corolla, were involved in the accident.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash.
Contra Costa County firefighters responded to the scene and took the victim to the hospital.
The cause of the collision was not immediately determined.
