Major Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-680 in Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek, California: At least one person was injured in a multi-car accident that happened Sunday evening in Walnut Creek.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported around 5:37 p.m. on southbound Interstate 680 just north of the N Main Street off-ramp.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash. At least one of them reportedly caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
