Placerville, California: At least one person was severely injured in a car collision that took place Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Placerville.
The wreck was reported around 3:33 p.m. on State Route 49 and State Route 193.
A white pickup truck and a gray Mercedes-Benz C300 were involved in the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and took one person to Marshall Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
