San Mateo County, California: One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened Sunday afternoon in Woodside, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred around 4:03 p.m. on eastbound State Route 84 at Old La Honda Road.
A silver motorcycle collided with a white Nissan Murano under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the highway, only allowing one-way traffic flow.
One person sustained major injuries in the accident.
The car acquired a broken front-left tire. Both the car and the motorcycle were towed away from the scene.
