Major Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Capitol Expy and I-680 in San Jose
San Jose, California: Major injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday evening in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP officers responded to the westbound Capitol Expressway on-ramp to southbound Interstate 680 after they received reports of a five-vehicle crash around 6:16 p.m.
The officers found at least one person with major injuries. San Jose firefighters transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
Several traffic lanes were shut down during an investigation.
