Major Injury Collision Involving Caltrans Truck on I-580 in Oakland
Oakland, California: At least one person was seriously hurt in a collision involving a Caltrans truck that happened Thursday morning in Oakland.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck was reported around 9:31 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 580 just west of State Route 113.
Responding CHP officers found a Caltrans sign truck involved in the collision with a Lexus.
At least one person was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Several traffic lanes were shut down as authorities investigated.
