Chula Vista, California – Two people were injured, one seriously, in a two-car accident that happened in Chula Vista on Friday morning.
The accident was reported at around 3 a.m. at Telegraph Canyon Road and Paseo Ladera, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.
A 19-year-old National City man was driving under the influence when he collided with another vehicle.
The other driver was trapped inside their car and was extricated before being taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The National City man sustained minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
