Major Injury Crash Involving Tesla on SR-91 in Corona
Corona, California: Authorities are investigating a serious injury accident that happened Sunday afternoon on State Route 91 in Corona.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck involved a red Tesla SUV and a pickup truck and occurred around 3:35 p.m. on the eastbound side of the state route just west of State Route 71.
The vehicles collided under unclear circumstances, destroying about 30 feet of guardrail on the right-hand shoulder.
First responders found the Tesla blocking traffic lanes with a broken tire.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident, as per the report.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
