Major Injury Crash on SR-163 in San Diego
San Diego, California: At least one person was severely injured in a traffic collision that happened early Saturday morning in San Diego.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck was reported just before 4 a.m. on southbound State Route 163 at Kearny Villa Road.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason.
A driver was trapped inside one of the cars.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped the motorists.
One person was hospitalized with severe injuries.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
