Man, 37, Killed in Sacramento Crash on SR 51 near Auburn Blvd
Sacramento, California – A man was killed in a car crash that happened on Tuesday morning in Sacramento.
The fatal crash happened on State Route 51 near Auburn Boulevard at around 7 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 53-year-old man was driving a car northbound when he drifted into the southbound lanes for unknown reasons and collided head-on with another car.
The 37-year-old man driving the second car was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the northbound car was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
