Man Airlifted with Serious Injuries After Victorville Multi-Car Crash

Victorville, California: Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday night in Victorville.

The pileup was reported around 9 p.m. near Highway 395 and Eucalyptus Street.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after receiving the reports of the collision.

The responders found a 58-year-old man trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters extricated the victim from the car through the window and determined he sustained severe injuries and showed signs of altered consciousness. The patient was transported to Sunset Ridge Park, from where he was airlifted by a Mercy Air helicopter to a trauma center in Antelope Valley.

Another patient in a Honda was treated for less severe injuries and then taken to a local hospital for further assessment.

The collision is under investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
