Tracy, California: The San Joaquin Medical Examiner’s Office identified the two people who died in a traffic collision early Sunday morning in Tracy.

The two were; Azucena Perez, 32, of Fort Bragg, and Harold Liberty IV, 19, of Antioch.

The wreck happened around 2 a.m. on Interstate 580 just west of Corral Hollow Road.

Liberty was reportedly driving a 2007 Honda Accord the wrong way when he collided head-on with Perez’s 2023 Kia Telluride.

Both vehicles overturned, and Liberty was ejected from the Honda into the center median, dying at the scene.

Perez was hospitalized but later died from her injuries.
