Man Dies After Crashing Pickup Truck into Parked Vehicles in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California: A 62-year-old Bakersfield man died in a traffic collision that took place Thursday morning in Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place around 10:15 a.m. on River Boulevard, just north of Goodman Street.
Authorities said the man was driving a Dodge pickup truck southbound on River Boulevard when he lost control and crashed into three parked cars.
The man was transported to Kern Medical, where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities said the vehicles that the deceased crashed into were legally parked on the east road edge of River Boulevard.
