Man Dies After Parked Pickup Truck Gets Hit by Car in National City
National City, California: 49-year-old Gregorio Arreaga died in a car crash that happened Sunday afternoon involving a parked pickup truck in National City.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place just before 5 p.m. within a Park n Ride at 2300 Sweetwater Road.
Investigators said Arreaga was standing in the bed of a pickup truck when another car hit the truck and ejected him, sending him beneath another parked car.
Emergency personnel took the victim to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
No other details were given about the crash.
