Man Dies in Crash on 5 Freeway in San Diego
San Diego, California: The San Diego County Office of Medical Examiner identified the man who was struck and killed by multiple vehicles last month near downtown San Diego as Angel Gabriel Soto Diaz, 20, Of Alpine.
The accident occurred around 10:27 p.m. on April 20 on the southbound Interstate 5 near J Street.
According to investigators, Soto Diaz was driving a car when he was involved in a collision and then exited the vehicle before he was struck by multiple vehicles.
First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
