Man Dies in Desert Hot Springs Crash on I-10 near Palm Drive
Desert Hot Springs, California – A 41-year-old Indio man was killed in a car crash that occurred early Thursday morning in Desert Hot Springs.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 1:58 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Palm Drive.
The Indio man was driving a pickup truck when he swerved into the right side of the freeway and side-swiped another vehicle in the No. 3 lane.
The pickup truck then struck a sign before it overturned.
The Indio man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 50-year-old Arizona woman who was driving the second car was unhurt.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
