Man Dies in Monday Evening Fresno Motorcycle Accident
Fresno, California: A man died after a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV Monday evening near an intersection in Fresno.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the wreck occurred around 6:30 p.m. near Chestnut and Weldon avenues.
Police officers said a silver Toyota SUV was traveling southbound on Chestnut, and a man on a motorcycle was heading northbound.
The SUV turned left into the path of the motorcycle, and the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike.
The man was killed in the crash. He was only described as a man in his 20s.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
