Man Dies in Oceanside Crash on Douglas Drive near North River Road
Oceanside, California – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a pickup truck on Wednesday morning in Oceanside.
According to the authorities, the accident happened at around 6:35 a.m. on Douglas Drive near North River Road.
A 27-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into the passenger side of a Ford F150 that was making a left turn into a gas station.
The rider suffered major injuries and was rushed to Tri-City Medical Center where he later died.
The police did not disclose the identity of the man pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver of the pickup remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
