Man Dies in Tulare County Crash Involving Semi-Truck
Tulare County, California: A man died in a collision involving a semi-truck that happened early Friday morning on Highway 99 between Visalia and Tulare.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision took place about 4 a.m. just south of Drive 92B.
Officers said the collision happened when a man driving a Kia attempted to pass a semi-truck and crashed into multiple barrels filled with water and then hit the truck.
The driver died at the scene.
The semi-truck driver stopped after the collision. He was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
