Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle in North Park, San Diego
San Diego, California: A 32-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in North Park, San Diego police said.
The accident took place around 10 p.m. at University Avenue and 30th Street.
The pedestrian was crossing 30th Street in the south crosswalk of University Avenue from the west to the east against a red light.
The pedestrian walked into the path of a 2018 Toyota Camry driven by a 32-year-old man northbound on 30th Street on a green light.
The man was struck and thrown to the roadway.
The pedestrian was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the accident.
