Man Hit and Killed by Truck on East Brundage Lane in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California: A man is dead after he was struck by a truck early Monday morning at an intersection in Bakersfield.
Bakersfield police said the incident was reported around 5:12 a.m. at East Brundage Lane and Quantico Avenue.
A white pickup truck was traveling westbound on East Brundage Lane, and a man was walking southbound outside a crosswalk when the accident occurred.
Responding emergency personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
