Newhall, California: A man was hospitalized after being struck by a car Thursday afternoon in Newhall, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
The incident was reported around 3:21 p.m. in the 23500 block of Lyons Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene and found that a man who was in a wheelchair was hit by a car under unclear circumstances.
The patient was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
