Man Injured in Apple Valley Pedestrian Accident on Pawnee Road

Apple Valley, Calif. – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a suspected DUI driver on Saturday evening in Apple Valley.

The accident was reported around 6 p.m. in the 14100 block of Pawnee Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 57-year-old Apple Valley man was driving a car when he crashed into a parked car. The impact of the collision caused the car to hit a 24-year-old male from Pomona.

The woman suffered major injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the car, Anthony Tyrone Davis, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
