Sherman Oaks, California – A 78-year-old man was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Sherman Oaks.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the crash was reported around 1:25 p.m. at 4300 N. Calhoun Avenue near Ventura Boulevard.
Two vehicles were involved, but the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
A fire hydrant was hit in the incident and water was reported hitting the roof of the Guitar Center at 14209 Ventura Boulevard, which caused a partial collapse.
The elderly man was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
