Phoenix, Arizona: A man died after a car crashed into a home in Phoenix early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The incident happened just after 1 a.m. near 31st and Southern avenues.
A man was reportedly sleeping alone downstairs while the rest of the family was asleep upstairs when a vehicle crashed into the home.
The man got hit and pinned underneath the car.
The victim died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver involved was detained by police.
