Man Killed in Carlsbad Motorcycle Accident on Carlsbad Boulevard
Carlsbad, California – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Saturday evening in Carlsbad.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 4500 block of Carlsbad Boulevard.
The Carlsbad Police Department says a motorcycle rear-ended a Chevy SUV on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The rider, a 25-year-old man from Kentucky, suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital where he died.
The 28-year-old Oceanside man driving the SUV stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
