Man Killed in DUI Collision at Clinton and Armstrong Avenues in Fresno
Fresno, California: 80-year-old Jose Castro died in a two-vehicle collision involving an intoxicated driver that happened Tuesday evening in Fresno.
The Fresno Police Department said the wreck occurred just before 6 p.m. at Clinton and Armstrong avenues.
A driver ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a vehicle driven by Castro.
Emergency personnel transported Castro to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The Fresno resident later died at the facility.
Police arrested the driver of the other car on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The driver was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
