Man Killed in Hayward Hit-and-Run Crash on Huntwood Avenue
Hayward, California: A man died in a hit-and-run collision that happened early Sunday morning in Hayward.
Three vehicles collided around 12:50 a.m. in the 27000 block of Huntwood Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found two vehicles.
The driver of one of the cars was unconscious and injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in that car was not hurt.
The sole occupant of the other vehicle was also uninjured.
Police said the driver of the third vehicle fled the scene after the collision. The vehicle was located by officers empty a short distance from the scene.
Authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.
