Man Killed in Hayward Motorcycle Crash Identified

Hayward, California: The Alameda County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist who died Monday after colliding with a car in Hayward as 31-year-old Christopher DaSilva.

The San Leandro resident died Monday evening after a collision that happened around 6 p.m. near Jackson and Grand streets.

DaSilva collided with a vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man under unclear circumstances.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

DaSilva’s family created a GoFundMe account to help raise funds for his funeral.
