Man Killed in Indio Car Accident Identified
Indio, California: The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office released the name of the man who died in a traffic collision early Sunday morning at an intersection in Indio.
29-year-old Yordi Jose Del Toro Mendoza, of Indio, died in a crash that happened around 2:42 a.m. at Requa Avenue and Monroe Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Cal Fire personnel responded to the scene and took Del Toro Mendoza to John F. Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:16 a.m.
The Indio Police Department is investigating the collision.
