Man Killed in Long Beach Scooter Accident on Pacific Coast Highway

Long Beach, California – A man died after being struck by a scooter on Tuesday night in Long Beach.

According to a report by the Long Beach Police Department, the accident occurred on Pacific Coast Highway near Junipero Avenue.

The victim was reportedly riding a scooter when he was struck by a 2018 Dodge Challenger traveling eastbound on PCH.

The victim, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The driver of the car, a 21-year-old resident of Long Beach, remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in the collision.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
